With Derry set to resemble Cannes or St Tropez as it prepares to play host to thousands of visitors during the Clipper homecoming.
Running from June 21st to June 29th, it will be the biggest sailing spectacle in Ireland this year, attracting thousands of visitors to the banks of the Foyle.
The programme is packed full of the sights, sounds and flavour of the sea to celebrate the arrival of the 2013-2014 Clipper round The World Yacht Race. Sweet Nellie’s restaurant will be having fish to the fore on its daily specials. With less than two kilometres from boat to table there is excitement building in the kitchen.
Sweet Nellie’s is attached to the Greencastle Cove Leisure Homes complex where a limited amount of accommodation is available in its luxurious three bedroomed log cabins.
The Clipper race yachts will be moored alongside tall ships, naval vessels and visiting boats in Derry.
It will be “Surfin USA” when the legendary Beach Boys take to the stage at Ebrington Square on Thursday evening which is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see these legends live!
